Kate's going to Memphis to visit a friend for a few days. Rather than make her drive for 7 hours, I'm going to fly her down there and fly home tomorrow. Weather should be beautiful; I always need good excuses to fly, and I get to have lunch in Memphis.
And the winds aloft are forecasted to be almost 40 knots, right on our tail. We'll make it in 2.5 hours! (of course, then I have to fly home with a huge headwind. Flying lower will ameliorate the effect, but it's still going to be a 3:15 flight home.)
Seems like we'll be doing a lot of flying right along the Mississippi River, too.
