whoo, self-medication mistakes

Wow. I've been trying to cut down on my caffeine intake considerably over the last year or so, to the point that I almost never drink caffeinated soda and have a cup of coffee in the morning and then MAYBE another one stretched out over the many hours of the rest of my work day. I think the effect of this is positive. But holy cow, I for some reason had a third cup of coffee before lunch today, and I'm really feeling it. I'm physically jittery, and I keep having to push my anxiety down. I feel like I'm continuously on the edge of an emotional freakout. Not pleasant. Lesson learned, I hope.

it's severe weather season!

it's severe weather season! II

I swear there was a really healthy line of intense thunderstorms to our southwest, headed our way through the watchbox at about 6pm. Lots of red, dark red, and even violet (60 dBZ). I waited and watched the sky with anticipation. And...

We got drizzled on a tiny bit on our walk to the restaurant for dinner tonight. That was about it.

But! It still was our first watchbox!
